Description

The VP, Enterprise Applications & Operations is responsible for the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide applications and IT services. Reporting to the SVP of Corporate Technology Solutions, this role oversees ERP (D365 F&O), supply chain, HR, and corporate systems, ensuring they are integrated, reliable, and aligned with business objectives. The VP also leads IT operations, service delivery, and project execution, driving innovation while ensuring stability and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field; 10+ years in IT leadership with experience in ERP, enterprise systems, and IT operations.
  • Proven leadership of large-scale ERP (D365 F&O preferred) or similar enterprise transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of integration, Agile/DevOps practices, ITIL operations, and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Retail or multi-unit industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the enterprise technology roadmap, aligning applications and services with corporate strategy.
  • ERP Oversight: Serve as executive sponsor for the D365 F&O implementation, ensuring delivery on time, budget, and scope, with effective change management.
  • Enterprise Systems: Oversee ERP, supply chain, HCM, and core applications, ensuring integration, performance, and adoption of new capabilities.
  • Operations & Support: Ensure reliable IT services and infrastructure through best practices (e.g., ITIL), high service availability, and strong end-user support.
  • Project Delivery: Lead the IT PMO, standardize methodologies, and ensure projects meet scope, budget, and timelines while aligning with business priorities.
  • Team Leadership: Direct Product Owners, PMs, and Operations leaders, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Partner with senior business leaders, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure accountability.
  • Governance & Security: Maintain risk, compliance, and security standards, ensuring DR/BCP readiness and adherence to regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion Agile, DevOps, and automation to enhance responsiveness, scalability, and efficiency.
