Description

We are seeking experienced ETL and Data Transport Developers with strong qualifications in Python. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and managing data pipelines and ETL processes to support various internal applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is efficiently acquired, transformed, and delivered to meet project objectives.

Location: Halifax, Calgary and Montreal

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with excellent analytical abilities.
  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis, ETL development, and data transport processes.
  • Expertise in Python for data manipulation, profiling, and automation.
  • Solid understanding of computer systems, interfaces, and data workflows.
  • Experience working on data-related projects.

Responsibilities

  • You will execute on the development and optimization of ETL pipelines and data transport solutions
  • Experience working in startup environments.
  • Familiarity with Capital Markets, including a 360-degree understanding of its operations.
  • Knowledge of Accounting, Sub-Ledgers & Payments, FinTech, DeFi, Crypto, and Blockchain technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Additional Information

  • It's a long term contract role with office-remote hybrid work style.
  • Working in banking sector is an added advantage.
